Nhan Dan/VNAThe Ha Long Carnival 2008 Tourism Festival kicked off in the north-eastern coastal province of Quang Ninh on April 26.

The festival features a special fireworks performance and art performances by more than 3,000 people. It attracted representatives from Laos , China , Cambodia, Thailand and thousands of tourists.  

During the six-day festival, voting for the Ha Long Bay as a new natural wonder of the world will be held.
