The events will bring opportunities to promote the region’s sea and island tourism

Nhan Dan – A series of events for National Tourism Year 2011 will take place in the southern central coastal provinces, announced the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On the theme of ‘Paradise for Sea and Island Tourism’, the events will be held in Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan provinces and Da Nang city.

The events will bring opportunities to the region to promote its tourism potential on a national scale.

Various featured activities will include the Da Nang International Firework Festival, Quang Ngai Beauty Contest, Nha Trang Sea Festival 2011, Binh Thuan tourism week and a grand meeting to celebrate the 400th founding anniversary of Phu Yen province (1611-2011).
